Product Description

The Feeding Set was designed for a wide range of feeding ages. The set becomes useful from the moment that your doctor green lights solid food feeding to school days and beyond. Parents find the set is perfect for feeding and food storage. For traveling in the baby bag or in lunch boxes the Bento box is the ideal, no leak solution. We also included the Kids cup for when your child grows out of the Sippy cup range. And there is no reason for the set to be only useful for your toddlers.

How do I care for my thinkbaby Feeding Set?

When washing the set in the dishwasher, we recommend using a detergent that is free of chlorine. Most of the natural markets sell detergents free of toxic chemicals. If hand-washing, the American Pediatrics Association suggests using warm soapy water, but only if you live in an area with treated water systems.

How is the THINKBABY Complete BPA Free Feeding Set different?

THINKBABY’s Feeding set furthers our mission by providing safe, sustainable, functional and elegant products for little ones. In the development of our BPA Free Feeding system, THINKBABY continues the mission by providing a feeding set free of BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, and PVC. Our Feeding set is also free of Melamine. Early laboratory research has shown melamine based tableware to leach melamine at various temperatures and when combined with other chemicals (such as formaldehyde and cyanuric) have the potential to pose a risk. As we expect the debate to begin on the safety of this chemical, the research we reviewed caused us ask a simple question. Does the product have to have melamine? Nope. So we built our set to be completely free of it.

It started with a baby bottle. When we introduced the THINKBABY over 6 years ago 95% of the baby bottles on the market were made of polycarbonate which contains BPA. We launched THINKBABY and THINKSPORT to address the concern of chemicals leaching from consumer products. We started with the baby bottle because polycarbonate was ubiquitous across the industry. As little ones systems are still in a state of development they have very little defense against foreign chemicals. Thinkbaby utilizes the precautionary principle in the creation of all of our products. We don’t jump to new materials without doing the requisite testing to ensure that we haven’t landed on another BPA-like material. When we target a product segment that concerns us, we ask the question, How can we make the product line Safe? Functional? Sustainable? Thinkbaby and thinksports focus has led us to be the first company to span safe consumer products ranging from baby to adults.

7 Tips for bottle feeding to breastfeed babies

Moms often wonder “when is the best time to introduce a bottle to the baby?” While there is no perfect time, lactation consultants usually recommend offering a bottle somewhere between 2 to 4 weeks time. Waiting for too long can result in a baby who may refuse the bottle.

Bottle-feeding a breastfed baby can be a complex task. In some situations, bottle-feeding a baby becomes necessary, especially if the baby needs to be supplemented with formula milk. Choosing one of the best bottles for breastfed babies is the most convenient way to have somebody else feed your child, while you are away from home. Also, if your baby is supplemented with formula milk, using a bottle will be less frustrating for you both.

Every breastfed baby will react differently when introduced to a bottle. Some will love it from the start; others will suffer from nipple confusion, or become lazy at the breast.  Offer a bottle 3-4 times a week and not more than once a day to keep your baby familiar with the artificial nipple while maintaining a breastfeeding relationship.

Here are the 7 tips for bottle-feeding to breastfeed babies:

  1. Make a schedule. Devote your ten to fifteen uninterrupted minutes to bottle feeding your child.
  2. Choose a time when the baby is slightly hungry so that the baby feels motivated to learn a new way to receive milk.
  3. Select a slow flow nipple that will need the baby to make some efforts to get the milk from the bottle.
  4. Place the baby in an upright position and hold the bottle horizontally.
  5. Gently brush the baby’s lips with the nipple, allowing the baby to draw the nipple into the mouth at his or her own pace. Allow the baby to “accept” the nipple rather than pushing it in.
  6. Stay calm when offering your breastfed baby a bottle. Don’t force the bottle at any time if the baby starts to resist your efforts by turning away.
  7. Do not force the baby to finish the entire bottle. Watch the baby’s cues for indications that the baby is done.

Think Baby BPA Free Bottle

ThinkBaby Bottles, Nipples, & Sippy Cups will meet all your baby bottle needs. Thinkbaby is one of the best bottles for breastfed babies because of its convenient venting system that is built right into the nipple. Mom you will have no extra pieces to clean or lose. The nipple design encourages babies to work hard to drink from the bottle as they would do from the breast, making it first-choice for mums who fear their babies may prefer bottle over breast-milk.

Think baby went an extra mile and designed the bottles to be convertible into an award winning Spill Proof Sippy Cup. This conversion allows moms to convert their baby bottles into a Sippy Cup. Most mums have between 8 to 16 baby bottles. And when it comes time for their baby to move to a sippy cup they have to spend a lot of money in buying them. With the Think Baby conversion kit, mums can easily convert their existing baby bottles into a ThinkBaby Sippy Cup which not only saves them money but also saves the environment from excess waste.  ThinkBaby bottles can be recycled after use, as they are made from No. 5 plastic. ThinkBaby is a wonderful first bottle designed for every stage of your baby’s life.
